They are using computer-generated 3D-face models and letting the 300 people rate the faces and they are being asked if they are looking intelligent, dominant, and attractive. The participants are also being asked to guess their weight. They are finding out that different camera angles are affecting the awareness of the weight and aura of the person. The participants are partly guessing 15 kilograms less of the actual weight of the person in the photo.

Selfies have become increasingly popular over the years as people, especially the famous, have realized that it’s a great way to show off. When woman take pictures of their left side they look more attractiv. Its called “Schokoladenseite“. If they take pictures from the right side of the face, they look helpfull and intelligent to other people. Men doesnt profit from this effect much. When you take selfies from the upper sideway, you appear to be up to 15 Kilo lighter. Application photos should be taken from the top left. Thats how you manage to take the best selfies.

The different camera angel can let someone guess wrong for example if you take selfies from up to your body than someone guess your weight 15 KG less or higher then your actuel body weight. The angel of your selfie is very important.
